Women in Progress · Monthly Singapore Meetups

Come curious.
Leave more confident.
Repeat.

WIP is where women come to learn about AI — what's changing, try what's useful, and share what's working—without judgment, hype, or pressure to be technical.

01 / Eligibility

WIP is for you if…

  • You're a woman who wants to stay relevant without burning out—whether you're in a corporate role or building your own thing.
  • You're curious about AI, but the news cycle makes you feel behind.
  • You want to learn from people who are actually trying things (wins and fails included).

A supportive room — not a performance.

No certificates. No masterclasses. No sitting quietly while someone talks at you. Just real women, trying real things, in a room together.

02 / Experience

What happens in the room.

Two principles. Show what you did. Share what you know. No sitting quietly while someone talks at you.

01

Connect

Arrive and meet other women working across different industries in Singapore. No networking pressure, just open conversation.

02

Demonstrate

Real-world walkthroughs of how we use AI in our daily workflows. No polished slides, just raw "how-to" sharing.

03

Collaborate

Ask questions, solve bottlenecks, and try out new tools in a safe environment where no question is too basic.

What people are saying

"Meeting so many women deeply passionate about AI was honestly really refreshing and very needed. As a business owner I had areas I was struggling with — it was so nice to have these inspiring women to learn alongside."

Cass Lau, Founder, Spoilmrkt

"What a lovely evening! I feel more energised than when I left the office — and perhaps the whole day!"

A note from the founder

I started Women in Progress (WIP) because while I love technology, I value human connection even more. I wanted a community where we can be curious about AI—and build with it—without losing our humanity in the process.

WIP brings women together to learn, connect, and build thoughtfully, supporting one another as AI reshapes how we work and live. I believe we can use these tools to create genuinely positive outcomes for our careers and our lives.

Questions & Answers

Do I need to know anything about AI to come?

No prior experience needed — just curiosity. The whole point is learning together, not showing off what you already know.

Is this only for women in tech roles?

Not at all. Our members come from marketing, HR, finance, operations, journalism, entrepreneurship — if you use a computer in your work, AI touches what you do.

I'd be coming alone. Is that weird?

Most people come alone. That's by design — the format makes it easy to meet people without awkward networking.

What should I bring?

Just yourself. A phone or laptop if you want to try things during the demo portion, but sitting back and listening is fine too.

Is there a waitlist if the meetup is full?

Since we keep groups intentionally small, spots go fast. If we're sold out, join the mailing list to get first notice of the next one.

Is the registration fee refundable?

No. Because we keep our meetups intentionally small and curated, we cannot offer refunds. Your $10 registration fee helps us ensure that every woman who wants to attend has a spot and keeps the community sustainable.
